Our Proposal

M1 Piccadilly are a residential development company based in the North West. We have a recognised track record of delivering high-quality residential development,  Every project is tailored to meet the needs of its local community.

We have spent considerable time progressing our acquisition of the above site and are moving towards a planning application. Whilst there have been previous consent on the site, we wanted to take this opportunity to provide neighbouring residents with an overview of our intended approach.

The site is currently derelict, M1 Piccadilly is bringing forward plans to redevelop this neglected site of Store Street and bring it into productive use with an iconic purpose built residential building.

The proposed scheme aims to: Deliver a desirable managed residence in the heart of Manchester, capable of housing 54 luxury apartments of 1,2 and 3 bed all of which will have at least dual aspect and some will spread over multiple floor levels.

Complementary to the retained historical Piccadilly aqueduct, M1 aims to deliver a development that captures the character of the area and celebrates the heritage of the site, giving M1 a sustainable future.

M1 aims to create new communal facilities, including a cinema room, multimedia/ gaming room, covered terraces, resident's lounge areas and private office spaces.

In addition to the contribution of the proposed development to the City’s residential offer and wider economy, the Store Street proposals would deliver a number of further benefits including:

Regeneration of a currently vacant site. The proposed developed maximises the potential of a site that is located in a highly accessible City Centre location, whilst ensuring a form of development that responds to its context and local environmental issues.

A landmark and dynamic development. The proposed design responds to the character and heritage of the local area, as well as the area’s future.

Enhancement of Store Street through the implementation of enhanced lighting along the road to create a well-lit and safe environment as well as creating an important active frontage.

Economical benefits including construction jobs which will be targeted at local people where possible.
